Budget Car Rental Cloner card in Peru (Omar)

{question}

This is the guy who cloned my credit card on the first day of my trip to Peru. I think his name was Omar. I’m sure it still does not work alone. He worked at Budget Car Rental counter at the airport Jorge Chavez in Lima. I received an email from my company card to place only 12 days because of suspicious activity on my card, including a $ 09 455th shopping in a store (you must be hungry) and $ 2,300 purchase at a gas station. I guess the thought of all the cars that have an agreement with certain persons and two other companies that cheat their customers. They have probably done this with other people and got away with it, but I’m surprised not stuck yet. Anyway this video is up as evidence for the investigation of all these, including the Peruvian police, my card company, Budget Car Rental, and television stations in Peru, covering this story. * Update * The budget has not made any effort to resolve this issue said it was a “police matter” and will not take steps to investigate this person. Advice – do not rent from Budget!

This is the guy that cloned my credit card on the first day of my trip to Perú. I think his name was Omar. I’m sure he didn’t work alone though. He worked at the Budget Car Rental counter at the Jorge Chavez Airport in Lima. I got an email from my card company after being in country for only 12 days because of suspicious activity on my card including a $455.09 purchase at a grocery store (they must have been hungry), and a $2300 purchase at a gas station. I am guessing they refueled all of their cars with that they have a deal with some people at a couple other companies to defraud their clientele. They have probably done this to other people and gotten away with it but I am surprised that they haven’t gotten caught yet. Anyways this video is up here as evidence for anyone that is investigating this including the Perúvian police, my card company, Budget Car Rental, and the TV station in Perú that will be covering this story. *Update* Budget didn’t make any effort to resolve this issue saying it was a “police matter” and will take no steps to investigate this individual. Advice – Do not rent from Budget!
